Is Echo Day Camp more expensive than other day camps in the Lake County area?
The price of Echo Day Camp is comparable to other camps in the area that provide similar experiences.

Will there be other counselors besides just the 4 owners?
Absolutely! Echo Day Camp is a full service day camp that will focus on giving the campers the best summer they have ever had. To do this, we like to keep our counselor to camper ratio low. There will be about 8-10 campers per counselor. The staff that will be working with the campers will be the best in the area. The programs will be led by experienced individuals that have a lot of experience working with kids. Some of the counselors will be teachers from the Millburn District.  Echo Day Camp prides itself on their staff and we are confident that you will not be disappointed.

Will my camper need to bring a snack or lunch everyday?
The campers will be responsible for bringing their own sack lunch everyday. The lunches will be placed somewhere cool. A snack will be provided daily by Echo Day Camp. We will provide frozen icy pops everyday. If your camper would like to bring a different snack they are welcome to.

What days will the field trips be on?
The field trip days have not been determined, but will likely be on Fridays.

Will there be swimming everyday?
Echo Day Camp will not be swimming everyday. We will have lots of sprinklers and water activities to make sure the campers stay cool all summer. We will be visiting many of the local pools as field trips.

How will the campers be grouped?
The campers will be grouped according to age. Exceptions will absolutely be honored.

Will there be female staff members?
Many of our staff members will be female.

Will there be the opportunity for Early drop off and late pick up?
YES! Echo Day Camp wants to make sure that most parents’ schedules are accommodated.  For more information see Camp Fees under Registration.

Is Echo Day Camp for only Millburn students?
No, Echo Day Camp is based at Millburn West School but is not intended for Millburn students only. Echo Day Camp is a fully licensed day camp that is completely independent of Millburn School.
